Kinsey Lee is a member of the American indie folk band, The Wild Reeds. After 10 years of writing, touring, and performing on her resume she has begun to find her voice as a solo artist. Kinsey debuted her first solo track "Lover's song" recorded by Duff Thompson and Steph Green of Mashed Potato Records the week of Mardi Gras 2020 before the world shut down for COVID. Since 2020, Kinsey has been able to create a life for herself as a flight attendant that compliments her passion for music and the feeling that she's never stopped touring.

Her full length album“Cold Cuts” is due in the spring of 2026.  This album was written as a companion to process the changes happening outside her will. Her song “Alone or Free?” Is about wrestling with the future and trying to take autonomy over a path that she didn’t plan to take. 

Although life has thrown many curveballs her way, Kinsey has taken them with grace. While planning to record her record, Kinsey unexpectedly went profoundly deaf in her right ear. Accepting and adapting to this new disability took some time and making this record was part of the recovery. Although you may not see or hear the struggle, you can certainly hear the triumph and resiliency in a voice with profound purpose.
